Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable room, and bed. Great bath and shower facilities! Really enjoyed dinner, not an extensive choice but more importantly the good was perfectly cooked, and the staff attentive and responsive to what we asked for. Enjoying our stay !
Nice and tidy pub with local and international ale and a warming fire. Rooms are fine, too. A little spartanic but you'll find you need.
We booked this because it was dog friendly and it is very much so. The rooms are very nice with a decent bathroom, a tv (a lot of channels have no signal) and tea/coffee making facilities. The sleep was very good and the shower is also very refreshing. There is a main road at the front so from time to time it can get a bit noisy. But after the first night we were used to it. Breakfast is very nice but it would be nice to see the cooked breakfast options written down as the first morning we would have liked some time to make a decision. Worth signing up to the Loyalzoo loyalty program if you think you might be a regular! The food is lovely too. We had the whitebait, chips and the hummus light bites. Very tasty. The quiz night on Thursdays is wonderful. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
